We are seeking reliable and knowledgeable Mobile Computer Technicians to join our Mobile Computer Help team. This position requires a dependable individual with a reliable car to travel to various locations and provide on-site in home & business technical support. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and resolving computer and printer issues. The working hours vary between 5-9 PM on weekdays and 10 AM - 4 PM on weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client locations to provide on-site technical support.
- Diagnose and resolve computer issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Undertake workshop work as required.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on client systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of client interactions and services provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical issues and provide clear instructions and solutions.
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license.
- Must have Apple iPhone or iPad device
- Proven experience as a computer technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexible to work evenings (5 - 9 PM) on weekdays and weekends (10 AM - 4 PM).
Working Conditions:
- This is a mobile position requiring travel to different client locations.
- Must be able to lift and carry computer equipment as needed.
- Work hours are evenings on weekdays and daytime on weekends.
